Notice for Bid: Civil Engineering Subcontracting
for Kuwait MEW6214
I. Project Overview
This Bid is issued for the civil engineering subcontracting under the “Kuwait MEW6214 Project: Maintenance and Repair Works for XLPE Power Cables up to 400kV in Middle Area” (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”). China National Cable Engineering Corporation (CCC) (hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”) will send invitation to specified companies. Companies that have received invitation and agree to participate could submit a bid for the above works in accordance with the requirements specified in the accompanying procurement documents.
II. Scope of Procurement
This Bid is for civil engineering subcontracting. The supplier shall be responsible for civil engineering subcontracting related to the cable maintenance project, including but not limited to cable trench excavation, backfilling, cable manhole construction, and road restoration. Specific construction details shall be subject to the technical specifications in the procurement documents.
III.Supplier Qualification Requirements
Suppliers must possess relevant civil engineering experience. Please refer to the procurement documents for detailed requirements. Joint venture bids are not accepted for this bid.
IV. Obtaining Bidding Documents
The Invitation for Bids, open only to suppliers who have received the invitation letter. Invited entities shall confirm their participation in the bid within 2 working days upon receipt of the invitation letter and submit their bid documents as required.
